Lower Elementary Section

Curriculum

The Lower Elementary section includes three class levels: Elementary 1, 2 and 3.

We prepare kids to be life-long learners through problem solving, critical thinking, communication, creativity, and teamwork.

Students are provided with opportunities to develop their full potential through different academic programs that include music, art, drama, computer, physical and Christian education, as well as various extra-curricular activities.

To assess our students’ performance, we are adopting the “standard based report cards”. Number grades are not used anymore. Instead, we assess the most important skills the students should learn in every subject, and inform the parents about their children’s progress, whether they are exceeding, meeting, or showing little or no progress towards the class level expectations.

American Program

Students who have a foreign nationality can chose to enroll in the American program. They take Social Studies classes in English, and a special Arabic course starting Elementary 2. We also offer special French classes for students who have difficulties following the regular French course.

“The Leader in Me” Program

Through the “Leader in Me” program, we teach our students leadership and life skills needed for success in any setting. This will help them become self-reliant, take initiatives, plan ahead, and develop the skills and self-confidence they need to lead their lives and be successful.

The “Protect Ed” Program

Protect Ed provides our students with important safety lessons that are essential for their success and well-being, covering six areas: Personal Safety, Physical Safety, Healthy Living, Emotional Safety, Internet Safety, and Anti Bullying.
